“Is it bad karma, or a poor choice, or a misuse use of Law of Attraction to speak of what is not working yet, the imperfections in my life? Will the Karma Police come to give me a ticket in the journey?” This is a question I hear often from others. So much fear and misunderstanding here on this topic.
It is not “being negative” to acknowledge that ugliness exists side-by-side with Beauty. Instead, it is the first step to learning to fly, to getting off the ground and launching any dream. It is a source of wisdom, power and love.
A painter works dark and light. A scientist works with matter and space. A seeker works with shadows and light. We work, we play.
To become aware of self, to become conscious in life, to master the dance is to play with all the colors in the palette. To explore the nature of life and death. To mine the texture of beauty and ugliness, within and without.
Awareness is leading. Consciousness is leading. Leading oneself back to Self. The Me and the me. And to lead in the world, means leading from this heart-space. Hearing the collective song.
To master, to be. I am.
It all begins in celebrating beauty and ugliness, accepting the invitation to dance. Sloshing around in the mud and rain, and drying off in the sunshine of meadows.
These are the things that matter. This endures, in a world of uncertainty, coming back to breath in and breath out, shadow and light.
Make no apologies. Play fully. Live freely.
