Thanksgiving Day. Would you spend some time with your Mother today? Feel her love reaching out holding you, moment by moment. Be thankful to this planet for sustaining all of life. Notice the often overlooked gifts, like the security you feel in trusting in the eternal sunrise and sunset. Or the well-being that ripples through your body as you smell salty ocean air. Our shared fascination for dolphins, tigers, polar bears, penguins, gorillas… all because deep down we feel kinship. A kinship you feel with your “domesticated” cats, dogs, horses … that are your up-close family. These furry and feathered family are also the offspring of The Mother, as much as you and I. Oh, and The Mother is so resourceful, able to adapt, to take so much of what we give, and turn it into more love. The Creative Mother. Today, let’s celebrate Her. Simple is best. Speaking a sincere prayer. Walking barefoot on the earth. Receiving the call of birds, responding with your heart’s song.
